This painting is a top seller. Mavericks breaks in our own Californian backyard near Half Moon Bay. At first Mavericks was never thought to be rideable, and now riding Mavericks is viewed as the greatest accomplishments in surfing. This wave has claimed many lives of those who have tried to master it. Those who surf here endure a 45 minute paddle through freezing shark infested waters in hopes of surfing and surviving 40' waves. This painting captures the bright, sunny lighting contrasted by the dark shadows in the murky shark infested cold waters. Mavericks is no doubt a phenomenon of a wave.

I just wanted to say I loved your paintings ever since jen showed some pictures of some in your home. You have amazing talent and I have wanted to purchase some for quite some time. I love the blues and greens- I have a green workout room that I would love to buy a set of 3 when I can afford them. Maybe some day.
