Dark Horse is a unique addition to my collection. It earned its name "Dark Horse" because it was a scrap canvas that I almost threw out several times, but instead, I kept adding medium to it here and there. Eventually, something amazing happened. All of the undercoats of color layered to create an almost glowing look to the painting when displayed under lights. The layers of transparencies produced an abstract and richly colored masterpiece. Definitely a crowd pleaser.
